The Peterborough Utilities Group

For over 100 years, Peterborough residents have been relying on Peterborough Utilities for their drinking water. Today our group of companies also develop and operate electricity generation, energy equipment rentals, and commercial metering services both in Peterborough and other areas of the province.   

The Corporate Organization Chart shows the relationship with the City of Peterborough, the Peterborough Utilities Commission and City of Peterborough Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries. We refer to these as the Peterborough Utilities Group.

The Commission consists of five members appointed by City Council.  City Council has delegated complete authority for the governance of the City's water works system and the Riverview Park and Zoo to the Commissioners.
