We are community partners. We believe that success comes from working together with local communities and municipalities to enrich the places where we work, live and play.

At Peterborough Utilities Inc., we listen. For example, neighbours expressed concern over the removal of an osprey nest during the replacement of the deck of the dam at our London Street Generating Station. We worked with the community to build and install several new osprey nests at our hydro plants.

We are proud of our work and the plants that we have built and operate. PUI has participated in the Doors Open Ontario event and hosted numerous tours of our plants to support public awareness, educational programs and government policy.

We also support local communities, charities and educational institutions through fundraising and sponsorships.
