Peterborough Utilities Commission 2025 Water Budget

A Meeting of the Peterborough Utilities Commission will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, commencing at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Doris Room at City Hall, 500 George St. N, Peterborough, Ontario.

The Peterborough Utilities Commission is considering a 2.4 percent rate increase effective January 1, 2025. 

This Public Meeting is being held in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 to provide water utility ratepayers in the City of Peterborough with an opportunity to make representation regarding the proposed 2025 rates and budget. 

Individuals wishing to attend the meeting should email slake@peterboroughutilities.ca for registration information.  Individuals who are unable to attend may provide written comments by submitting an email to Corporate Services, slake@peterboroughutilities.ca no later than 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024.  

A schedule of proposed fees is available within the meeting agenda package.

Note:  Personal information collected as a result of the Public Meeting is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001 and will be used to assist in making a decision on this matter.
